George Lamelza joined Ozarks Technical Community College as the College Director of Web Services and supervises all web and online related operations for the college. This includes design, development, innovation, reputation management, SEO, SEM, SMM, PPC, analytics and reporting, content management, live chat services, and digital strategies.
George Lamelza is universally known as an innovative entrepreneur who since 1995, has successfully grown brands with a focus on the convergence of technology and marketing.
In 1997 he was the co-founder of web hosting giant Anet and after successful growth in the ’90s merged with Team Media in 2000. He assumed the top post of CEO and continued to oversee the company’s growth and subsequent acquisition in 2007.
In 2008 Lamelza was a founding member of the Orlando Sports Foundation, Inc and the AutoNation CureBowl and continues to serve as an advisory board member providing expertise for technology and marketing strategy.
Lamelza continues to be at the forefront of technology and marketing in the digital space. His experience spans many industries and includes advertising, automotive, education, fashion, government, retail, telecommunications, venture capital, and cloud/web hosting.
Lamelza in a member of the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, a member of SEMPO National Speakers Bureau and has also been recognized by the Business Journal as one of Missouri’s top professionals. In 2013 he received the MCCA Technology Innovation Award, in 2017 the NCMPR Medallion Award, and in 2018 was recognized by the Football Bowl Association as the Volunteer of the Year.
